About USPC
Problem Solving Based on Global Experience
USPC started operations in the early 1990’s and became incorporated in New Jersey in 2001. Its roots are the US electric and gas utility industries; with USPC senior staff bringing years of experience at major utilities, financial institutions, and agencies conducting development overseas.
USPC staff has a unique knowledge base derived from hands-on experience in the power sector worldwide with particular depth of knowledge of the paths followed by successful world-class utilities in power projects in generation, transmission, interconnection, clean fuels, efficiency and renewable energy applications.
USPC believes that the success of a project is primarily dependent on the close attention that needs to be given to the client’s requirements and the local experience and technical knowledge of the USPC staff assigned to the project.
USPC has had hands-on involvement and contributed to the growth of power in East Asia (e.g., China PRC and Hong Kong SAR), the transition to market economies in Eastern Europe (e.g., Romania, Georgia), use of renewables in South Asia (e.g. Pakistan), application of renewable energy and energy efficiency practices in Latin America (e.g., Colombia, Peru), major efforts to rehabilitate the infrastructure of Middle East & North Africa countries in conflict or post-conflict environments (e.g. Iraq, Yemen & Libya), and assist countries in transitioning to more stable economies (e.g. Jordan, Turkey).
USPC believes that many power sector development strategies that have been used in advanced power systems as well as proven themselves in power sector development of countries in East Asia can be successfully implemented elsewhere in the world.
